ELECTRONICS FOR OCEANOGRAPHIC BUOYS

Strelia Electrotecnia develops with Hercules de Control (HCTech) the electronic hardware for directional measurement buoys of the «Bares» series.

This project is the basis for a future family of multisensory oceanographic buoys, which will integrate Free technologies both regarding hardware and software, achieving high efficiency in cost, maintenance and data quality.

This system includes a high-performance triaxial accelerometer-gyroscope-magnetometer, a Linux embedded processor, a 3G / 4G mobile communications system and a multi-system GPS.

The architecture has very low consumption and offers high reliability for oceanographic work conditions worldwide.

Strelia previously executed Hercules de Control’s industrialization process of its «V1.0 Bars» non-directional wave buoy, thus launching the preseries and successfully developing the electronic systems production and pilot testing with the clients.
